Buying a home is one of the biggest personal investments one can make. With our help, you will find the best deal possible with the least amount of stress. In order to find the perfect home for you, we recommend that you that you take the following steps to lay the groundwork for your decision-making process:
Find a lender and get preapproved. Preapproval determines how much you can afford so that you can look for homes in your price range. Getting pre-approved helps you alleviate some home-buying anxieties by knowing exactly what you qualify for, what your monthly mortgage payment will be, and how much you will need for a down payment. Determine the best location for you and your familty to live. Some things you may want to consider are proximity to work and school, crime rate in the neighborhood, local transportation, and types of homes in the neighborhood (condos, townhomes, co-ops, newly constructed homes, etc).
Determine what is important to you in a home - number of bedrooms; privacy; size of lot; style of home (ranch vs. multi-level), etc.
Once you've done that, leave the rest to us. We will do a complete search of homes available in the area and provide you with a comprehensive list of the homes meeting your criteria. In addition, we enter our search criteria into the local MLS system to automatically identify and provide you with up-to-date information on new homes coming on the market. You select the homes you want to see and we set up a showing with the the homeowner. When you find the perfect home, we write your offer, negotiate furiously on your behalf, answer all of your questions with competence and speed, and guide you through the buying process.
